Shingles | Burning sharp tingling pain in the scalp with itching sensation, fever |
Psoriasis | Localised redness of skin, dry and flaky skin with silvery scales |
Dehydration | Reduced fluid intake and clinical symptoms of dehydration |
Intracranial pathologies | To be ruled out in cases with unusual presentation or prolonged duration |
